Our process is as easy as 1-2-3.
First, you will need to book an online appointment to discuss your allergies with a medical provider. During the consultation, the provider will ask you about your allergy symptoms and medical history in order to determine if you are a good candidate for transdermal allergy immunotherapy (TdIT). If TdIT is right for you, the provider will issue a prescription so you can get started with treatment right away. The treatment will even be delivered right to your door!
As a standard safety protocol, it is recommended that you take the medication to your Family Doctor or Pediatrician for the first application of each month during the first four months of treatment. If any Stay-At-Home order is in place, you may sign a consent form to apply your first dose at home with another person present. Each month the dosage will increase, and it’s important to monitor how your body reacts.
During the rest of the month, the medication can be applied at home, three times per week. You can choose to see your personal physician for these four monthly visits, or visit one of our local Physician Partners.
After completing the four month introductory period, most patients can continue the allergy treatment at home, applying the cream three times per week. A yearly follow-up visit with our Online Provider will also be required to monitor your progress. For the most effective results, patients typically remain on treatment for one to three years while their body becomes desensitized to the triggering allergens.
